We are delighted to share our latest Ofsted report following our inspection on 8 and 9 September 2026. The report recognises the many strengths of our school, with four areas graded Strong standard: Attendance and Behaviour, Early Years, Inclusion, and Leadership and Governance. Our three remaining areas – Achievement, Curriculum and Teaching, and Personal Development and Wellbeing – were graded Expected standard. Safeguarding standards were also confirmed as met.

Inspectors praised our high expectations, positive relationships, nurturing environment and commitment to ensuring every child feels safe, valued and supported to succeed. They described our pupils as immensely proud of their school, affectionately calling it “small but mighty”.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils, staff, families and wider school community. This report reflects the dedication, ambition and collaboration that make Blacko such a special place to learn and grow. 

 

Parent View

Ofsted Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think of your child’s school, including: 

•  how happy your child is at the school
•  how the school manages bullying or challenging behaviour  

If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), we will ask how well the school supports them.
