    Keeping Safe

At Blacko, we recognise the importance of educating our pupils of how to keep safe. This can be presented through a many different channels including; keeping safe online, personal safety, healthy relationships, keeping safe when outside (eg, road safety), keeping safe when inside (eg, fire safety) and personal hygiene.

At Blacko, this is taught throughout PSHE/RSE, Computing and wider curriculum offer including NSPCC resources. Alongside this, we have regular visitors to school to discuss and educate our pupils in how they can stay safe. Visitors have included:

    • Debt / Financial Awareness
    • Drug Awareness
    • Fire Safety Talks
    • PCSO Talks
